In September 2026, Duda and Sébastien brought their families together at Château des Anglades in Hyères, in the South of France. She is Brazilian, he is French, they live in Miami, and both work in fashion. Nothing was left to chance, right down to the smallest detail. Their wedding was just like them: elegant, joyful and open to the world.

An American-style celebrant ceremony
They chose a celebrant-led ceremony, American style. The bridesmaids, all in pastel yellow, led the way down the aisle. At the altar, tall jars filled with white and yellow flowers framed the couple. Simple, and very chic.

The moment everything stops
Then Duda appeared at the end of the aisle, on her father’s arm, in her Valentino gown. It was the first time Sébastien, in his Dior suit, saw her as a bride, and his emotion was written all over his face. It’s the kind of moment I wait for all day: it lasts only a few seconds, but it’s often the one couples keep coming back to, years later.

Breaking the glass
To honour Sébastien’s Jewish heritage, the ceremony ended with the breaking of the glass. The groom stamps on a glass wrapped in a cloth, and everyone shouts “Mazel tov!”. It was a beautiful blend of traditions, met with a burst of applause.

Midnight, a bouquet from the balcony
The party was everything you could hope for. At midnight, Duda stepped out onto the château balcony and threw her bouquet down to her friends gathered below, in the dark. Spontaneous moments like that are my favourite to photograph.

Getting married at Château des Anglades
With its vineyards, palm-lined alleys and golden evening light, Château des Anglades is a stunning setting for a wedding by the sea in Hyères. Planning your wedding there, or anywhere in the South of France? I’d love to hear about it.
