In October 2026, Adeline and Sébastien got married at Domaine des Danjean in Signes, in the Var, South of France. A day in two parts, a civil ceremony followed by a celebrant-led ceremony, and two people head over heels in love.

A civil ceremony in style
For the civil ceremony at Ollioules town hall, Adeline chose a first dress that was nothing like a simple town-hall outfit: it was already a true wedding gown! Sébastien, a firefighter by profession, wore his dress uniform, as did his firefighter friends who came to stand by him.

Firefighters at the estate
Of course, we made the most of it with some beautiful photos at the estate, with the uniforms and a vintage fire car brought along for the occasion. Images full of pride and friendship that also tell the story of who Sébastien is.

Then came the celebrant ceremony at the estate. Adeline had changed into a second dress, more princess-style this time, with a few subtle sparkles. She walked down the aisle on her father’s arm, towards Sébastien, her eyes full of emotion. The whole room fell silent.

You fall in love with a soul
There are a few years between Adeline and Sébastien, and you’d only know it from their ID cards. What you see in the photos are two people looking at each other as if it were the very first day. Their story is a lovely reminder: you don’t fall in love with an age, you fall in love with a soul.

Getting married at Domaine des Danjean
In Signes, surrounded by the nature of the Var, Domaine des Danjean is run by Sophie and Leny, two absolute gems: genuine, down-to-earth, highly professional and incredibly kind. If authenticity is what you want your wedding to be about, this is exactly the place. Planning your wedding there, or anywhere in the South of France? I’d love to hear about it.
